Ignition coil troubles!

Hey guys,

I need an ignition coil for my 1980 LTD 550. They don't make it anymore and they only sell used ones on eBay. Do ya'll have any suggestions?

I went to an auto parts store today to try to MacGuyver up a car coil, but they had nothing that would work without getting too fancy with electrical tape.

Any tips/suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.

I went with something new from Dyna from these guys at Z1 that I buy most of my stuff form. Big difference in performance and starting in my experience.

Would much prefer new over used.
Am unfamilar with Part number ZC006-TR12.
Kawasaki.com shows part# 21121-1035 for coil to sparkplugs 1 and 4, and part# 21121-1036 for the other coil to sparkplugs 2 and 3.

Z1E's coils include Dyna version of the OEM coil, reportedly 2.2 ohm as used in Kawasaki electronic ignition with igniter. Click here > Dyna 2.2 ohm coils from Z1E

I went with nology coils on my kz1300. I don't know if they would work for your bike but you can check with them as well. They work excellent in my bike w/o any problems
