Going to startup the bike at dark tonight with the cover off the points and check for fireworks. Still hear sparks somewhere at an idle not sure where there coming from.:unsure:

You have most likely a coil wire breaking down. Spark jumping to ground, at cylinder head most likely. Plug wires I say, you'll see it a night.
