quick stator question was created by 9am53
Hi, I am installing my new stator likely today or tomorrow. The stator came from Z1E with some white "string" holding the leads close to the stator body. I assume these are there so the wires dont get damaged or ripped out. Should I remove the string before I install the stator, or do they stay there?

I would post pics, but I am at work and I figured those who have installed new stators would know what I am talking about.

THANKS a lot folks,

You positively don;t want that string getting caught up and ripping wires out once the rotor starts turning....
So yup, you had it correct... ;)
