Need Alternator Rotor KZ1000 81+ & GPZ 1100 84-85 was created by Jeff.Saunders
Rick's Electrical contacted us to find them used examples of KZ1000J Rotors and the GPZ1100 (84-85) Rotors.
These do not need to be perfect, just complete. They are going to used as a pattern to make replacement parts.
I don't have any of these in my personal parts collection. So if anyone out there has a spare of either of these they can send us, please contact me.
The part numbers are 21007-1036 for the J rotor and 21007-1076 for the GPZ rotor.
For those of you who don't know, Rick personally has a passion for the vintage bikes - he's a lover of the KZ's and is doing his part to help produce electrical parts for the bikes.

I would have hoped this would generate a more positive response. Now I've got a guy looking for one for his 82 KZ1100.

I mite have one for a 1982 KZ1100 Spectre but the magnets on the inside are broken out of it.

Here's the pics.
It is in very nice condition (with no broken magnets), and was mounted on my KZ1100A-2, until the starter clutch went bad.
This rotor takes a larger diameter starter-clutch than what Kawasaki specifies for that bike, and I'm not sure what the Kaw part number is for it, as it was acquired several years ago, with the starter-clutch attached.
The diameter of the starting-clutch plate on the back is 3.5"+/- a fuzz.

When replying to an old post and expecting an answer, it's best to PM to make sure someone catches the message.
I'll check with Chris to see if it's still needed.

The initial inquiry came in on 04 Octber.
I shot the customer an email to determine if there were still interest.
(Linked him to this site. We'll see what comes of it.)
Daveo,
For what it's worth, if you don't hear anything from him thru this forum in the next day or so, it'd make sense to proceed with Ebay. If you don't wish to wait, let me know and I'll just direct him to ebay if he even responds to me.
Thanks for the heads up!
Greatly appreciated.
