Tach cable broken! was created by leorider
Tach went bad late last season so I decided to diagnos today. Sure enough the internal springy cable is snapped. Does anyone know if I can buy this part through bikebandit or is it discontinued? It's a 78 kz650 b2. Thanks!

Looks like you need Kawasaki part # 54018-1003 which is still an active number.

here's a link to an item on ebay. read the description, sounds like they have them available for any model and they include a telephone # for questions.
