I have a 78 KZ650 B2 with 4 ohm Emgo universal coils I bought on Z1. I recently aquired a Dynatek DS2-2 but I dont have the 3 Ohm coils. Will the Dynatek work with the coils I have now?? What is the worst that can happen if its not compatible?? Thanks!

My understanding is they will work but with slightly reduced spark energy. I think the system will work best with 3 ohm coils.
I would not get coils with an ohm rating of 2.2 ohms as I understand the coils may be overheated and fail.

You should be fine. The Dyna S wants the minimum resistance to be 3 ohms. Higher is fine.
Since the stock dwell was 180 degrees, and the Dyna's dwell is closer to 360 degrees, there will be more spark energy than the points would give to the 4-ohm coils.
There will potentially be less spark energy than using the 3-ohm coils (as Mfolks said), but more than using the 4-ohm coils with points.
