Starter Cut out switch- source for this part? was created by The Garbone
I just started restoring a 79' KZ650 and I am looking for the switch that enables the starter button when the clutch is pulled.. (mounts to the clutch lever bracket).. Mine was missing.
I looked over at Z1 but failed to find one, there is a used switch on ebay but I would prefer a new replacement.

Search title and desctription on ebay for 27043-002. There's 2 sellers selling them new. $25 plus shipping, so not cheap, but if you want new you can get it there.

My gosh, you didn't disconnect this critical safety switch from the system??? That's more dangerous than running 2 year old tires.

I like it because if I run out of gas, I can ride on the starter! :woohoo:
