No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThis might be considered until the genuine article becomes available.

It's ebay item 350198150591.

Touted as a CD version of the FSM.

Good Luck! :)

From KZR Filebase under KZ Information, go to 1980, then to KZ750H, then download the parts diagrams and other info.

Perhaps these links may work.

On the Z1 and KZ900 headlights, there are two panhead screws at 8 o'clock and 4 o'clock positions through the shell behind the rim which screws hold the headlight and shell together. Removing the screws allows the headlight assembly to be pulled away from the shell. Be careful not to drop the assembly or allow it to fall, because the only thing holding it could be the plastic connector where the bulb fits. Should be able to disconnect at the connector and set the assembly aside during testing.

There are three wires going into the connector, and three holes in the connector to accomodate the three prongs on end of the bulb. My thinking is maybe the bulb is just blown out and that only a new bulb is needed.

The main idea is to assure that electric current is getting to the connector when the ignition switch is turned ON. One connector hole is ground, another is for dim and the other is for bright. Just probe the holes with voltage meter test wires.

Glad to see an FSM is on the way which imo is essential to properly care for and enjoy the bike.

Here's the headlight diagram as shown on kawasaki.com. On the 1980 KZ750-H, there might be more than 2 panhead screws holding the headlight assembly inside the shell. Should be easy to see when actually looking at the bike.

Good Luck! :)
