You do not require a relay. Your old system drew 5 Amps. I ran a 100W bulb which draws 8.3 Amps and had absolutely no problem. Your HID system draws only 2.9 Amps. as I said no Relay necessary.

There is no brand on the HID system. I bought them bulk from China, and they do not label it. It is just referred to as the "Mini Ballast" The complete system for the bike for an HI/LO H-7 conversion is $85 The Hi beam is quartz.

Here is what you get in the complete set.

It took me about a half hour to install, and that is only because I had to take off and remount a fairing. It is strictly plug and play. No wire cutting at all. The process is 100% reversible. Just unplug the system and plug in your old bulb.
