Just rebuilding a 1981 KZ750E at the moment and wondered if any of you chaps now if I can slide in a different engine. I dont want to go down the fuel injection road as I want to keep it to the basics but wondered if any other engine would fit, ie ZXR750H or Z1000. Any ideas would be appreciated, but, I am no fabricator and my welding looks a bit like pigeon excriment, also i like to do all the work myself.:side:

My bike is a 1981 KZ750E with Honda VFR400 NC30 single sided swingarm and Aprilia RS125GP rear subframe and seat pods, engine in more pieces than my mind
