Dyna III ignition, setting timing?

Dyna III ignition, setting timing?

How does one go about setting timing on a dyna III ignition? My 78 kz1000 is equipped with one and I have the mark set in the middle of the little round "window" in the plate. Is this correct? I had to replace the ignition housing and I just want to make sure. thanks

If you can find the instructions for the Dyna S (online), it should be almost the same.
1981 KZ550 D1 gpz.
