Anyone know the stock low and high beam headlight wattage draw? Mocking up the dual headlights and don't want to strain the charging system.

I believe it's 55 Watts for low and 60-65 for high beam(could be wrong).

If it is one of the old style 7" round units, the low beam was typically around 35 - 40W and the high beam is about 55 - 60W.

okay and thanks, I can get the 35w H3 low beam and 55w high beam from the auto store and put them in with the dual lights and be okay. Run them off a 5 pole relay so it's either one or the other when I throw the switch from low to high. I was thinking 35 was okay for low but I didn't think that it would be enough light for high beam.
