81 kz1000 j model harness...all the same????

so i have a standard and one of the hacked up items is the harness...i see a lot of ltd 81 getting parted out and am wondering if the harness was the same or close enough for all 81

i remember someone posting a cross reference link for kawasakim year/models...to see what bikes share parts...i promise to save the info if someone knows where i can look thanks folks....

I have a 81 CSR and have just gone through the entire thing to check continuity. It had been long enough since I had taken it apart, that it took a while to realize that even though the Clymer manual showed certain items in pics of the wiring layout, they were not part of the arrangement for my bike.

The kawi parts diagrams helped to define the elements I needed to look for. Perhaps you can check those parts diagrams for the LTD vs CSR and Police models.
