spark plug wires different on each side?
16 Mar 2009 19:56 - 16 Mar 2009 20:12
I almost have this bike going but something strange came up. I got some replacement plug wires and when I started to change them I noticed that the wires on the right side had twist on caps on the coils, which I like the looks of, but the left side doesn't have the twist on caps and appear to be stuck in place.
Left side with stuck in wires
Any help on getting the left side wires out without breaking something would be great.

Might consider cutting off the old wire but leaving enough for splicing onto the new wire with a plug wire splicer from Z1 Enterprises.
Click here > Splicer from Z1E
Have never used one of these splicers, or even seen one used, but if the coil is still good, seems to me the splicer should allow using the new wire.
Good Luck!
