Weird battery happenings...anyone else?

I currently have 3 bikes, and my neighbor has one as well. It seems that over the last couple of months, every battery here has lost its water. First the kz, then the goldwing. His Virago did it as well. And just today, the Honda chop is drained. Is this some environmental thing? Global warming maybe? I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this.

Over charging? but on three bikes? Are they parked in a hot area where the fluid can evaporate? Any other battery/electrical conditons like lightbulbs burning out early or ignition problems?

in south dakota here. Went to fire up the 810 a couple days ago and it was completely dead. Wouldnt evenm\ take a charge from the battery charger. Pulled the one out of my 82(hasnt been used in 6 months) to throw in the 810, it also was completely dead. Funny thing is that the battery that was in the 810 is only a year old.
