can anyone suggest a good replacement soldered connection fuse block? I've found a number of blocks with female connectors but I'd rather have a soldered connection.

www.waytekwire.com carries two sizes of the automotive "Blade" style fuse blocks. Some fabrication might be needed to make them fit as I doubt this is a drop in solution.
