Hey everyone. i have a 1976 kawasaki ke175 that im about to get running. the bike does not have an ignition switch now, and im thinkin it wouldn't be too hard to convert to toggle. The bike is kick start only, and has a separate switch for lights. I have a schematic, but cant zoom close enough to get a good picture, so i'll try to explain the wiring 4 wires to the ignition switch Bk/W- ignition, Bk/Y- ground, White- battery, brown- horn. Looking at the schematic, it shows ignition and ground jumped together for OFF, and Battery and Horn jumped together for ON.
What type of toggle do i need( single, double pole, throw)? and how would i go about wirirng it up. i can turn a wrench, but electrical is my weak spot. thanks everyone, any help is appreciated...
I started out with nothing, and still have most of it...
