Opening the Speedometer was created by DoubleDub
So I followed the instructions that were kindly posted on the wgcarbs site on opening up the speedometer/tachometer so I could clean the insides of the glass, but I can't seem to get the top part to come loose. I have the crimped ring pried up all the way around, but everything still seems to be extremely snug.
Any tricks out there on getting the top half to seperate once the ring is uncrimped? Am I missing a vital step?

If you have uncrimped the ring that holds the two halves together, you just need to pry a bit as the halves of the unit compress and stick to each other.

Thanks, WG. That's what I was expecting, but I wanted to make sure before I used more force....done that too many times in the past when I shouldn't have....
