The problem I see with the current HID set ups is there is no provision for a high/low beam selection. Maybe future lights will have them, until then I'll do a wait and see.

both those kits have hi/lo.the first one moves the bulb in and out and the second one uses a halogen bulb for high beam.there's a member that bought the first kit and was hoping he would chime in.i ended buying the second kit,it was more appealing to me. if something does go wrong i don't have to ship back to china...thanks royal

received it in the mail.first off if you don't have a fairing like i do it's not gonna be an easy hide, wires are short and the ballast/igniter is a little bit on the big side.the light is very bright but when you switch to high beam the hid turns off and the halogen kicks in,which is not very bright.i tried this with the engine off since the oil pan is still off, long story, don't know if the halogen will be any brighter with the engine on...we'll see

If not can you bump up the wattage of the halogen?

Let us know how you like it after a ride.

What Kelvin did you choose?

i chose 6000k but 5000 would have been fine too, anything lower or higher would give more of a yellow or more blue light
