got my bike from a tow lot on sunday, tuesday replaced the pickup coil and igniter, the tow lot had no key so i took the ignition apart to start bike, that worked-- bike started but it was a big pain in the a** 'cause the battery is almost dead and the bike won't idle, so figured I'd just hook up toggle switch on the White--power(20amp fused) lead and the brown and yellow igntion leads,, works great headlight comes on, starter whirls, no sparky. Did i fry the rectifier or the igniter? please help, the wiring diagram gave me a headache so i'm gonna take a nap now before i lose it.
