E-bay Dyna S for $289... WTF!!!

These guys are high and this doesn't even include the coils!

I go through these e-bay listing and these prices are no different than buying from Z1, APE, Pingels, Bike Bandit etc... and in some cases as in this one, higher...

Definitely, do your research for this is just plain crazy.

When I was looking for case guards, people were paying MORE for used case guards than for new ones that are readily available. I ended up finding some for significantly less than new ones since mine were dinged up and rusty. I cleaned them and had them powdercoated anyway but the point is, folks don't bother check what stuff costs... they just push the button as has been noted.

I noticed that same add just last night. It also seems they are selling the exact unit for $119 also. Looking at the description I couldn't see any difference.

I then looked up Z1 and they have it for around $120. Needless to say where I'll be getting mine.

I also get a kick out of brake levers, they sometimes go for 4-5 times as much as Z1 sells them for.

Better yet, the guy that wanted $1300 for the 29.5mm carbs... That's right 29.5... He said they we're ported or some BS like that.

Anyways, why would anyone spend that kind of money on 30 year old carbs. Hell, I bought my brand new Keihin 29mm for $700.

Damn guys, we're in the wrong business... We should be making up part numbers, claiming they have been over built/modified to racing standards, ported/polished, upgraded whatever and sell it on e-bay at triple costs over brand new products.

We'll all be retired and riding our bikes off of sucker money...

Anyone want to buy my original 1976 KZ 900-A4 rear fender, I'll let it go cheap, $1000... Only serious offers will be considered.

You have to give Z1 Enterprises some credit there, too. My regulator and stator, which came from Ricks, were both cheaper through Z1 than if I'd bought them direc .... 50 bucks cheaper on the stator.

Time after time, I've found they have the best prices. Those guys are great.

Back to the 289.00 for the Dyna, I believe P.T. Barnum said "there's a sucker born every minute". A man of infinite wisdom that P.T. I myself opted for the 120.00 version from Z1 for my 77 KZ650. I'm happier than pigs in poo with my Dyna S.Think I'll spend the 169.00 I saved, on the green coils and some silicone wires.
