Speedo Needle

Do anyone have a quick fix for spedometer needle jumping eractically after 100 KM/60MPH. Example, when driving at 110, the needle is jumping between 100 and 115 KM per hour. Thank You!

Has the speedo cable been pulled,cleaned,re-lubed(with a light grease)and re-installed?

After cleaning look for broken strands of wire on the inner cable as these might be giving the speedo a spurious signal.

As far as I know, It has not been cleaned. But I forgot to mention that it is an electronic speedo on a 1982 KZ 1000 Ltd.

Broken or almost broken wire, loose solder connection, possible circuit board problem. All point to opening up the speedo/tach instruments and take look inside.
