No Start

82 KZ1000 LTD, won't start when hot, solenoid just clicks. Blew turn signal fuse, replaced fuse, now left turn signal only works sometimes, right works fine. Are the turn signals somehow wired into the starter? Both problems started at the same time. I checked the turn signal wiring and did not find anything.

the turn signal problem is prob is going to be the flasher, as far as not starting when hot, have you checked the battery?

electrical is not my strong suit but definitely check battery status....a bad battery will do a host of funky things.....

All battery and starter solenoid connections must be clean and tight including the engine ground connection.

Is the battery in good shape? have you done a specific gravity check after charging it?
