Difference between Motorcycle and Auto Plug Wire was created by 83GPZ
I have some very expensive taylor 8mm performance wires that I bought for my car. I was wondering besides the length what is the difference and could I use them on my 83GPZ 1100 if I shorten and transfer the caps?
Also, I have a new set of 3ohm green dyna coils and wires that I bought for my 82 GS1100. Would they work on GPZ?
Thanks
Tee

What kind of coils are you running? If Dyna they might have a tight fit as I think the Dyna's will accept 7mm.
If you have stock coils and the old wires are part of the coil I think a splice kit is available. If your new wires are copper they might interfere with the FI system or are you running carbs?

I am running the stock coils and wires. I will look at the coils to see if the wire is a part of the coil. Will I be able to replace the stock coils/wires with DYNA coils/wires if the wires are not copper?
Thanks for the information,
Tee

The Dyna coils and wires will work fine on your GPz1100, we just finished installing Dyna coils and wires on the GPz750 Turbo.
