trigger wire question wg mod

hey guys i have an 82 1000 j model and i see where the yellow red comes down from kill switch to a connector question is do i cut yellow red wire before or after the connector?? everything else is pretty straight foward....thank you in advance, john...obviously doing the coil power rewire

Don't cut the connector. Unplug it. Crimp a connector on the wire you will run for the trigger. Plug the OUTPUT of your new relay pin #87 into the one into two connector that leads to the coils and you won't even have to unhook the wires from the coils.

ty george got her finished up early this after noon just gotta throw a new set of plugs in and go..i have 12v perfectly to both power feeds to the coils..took me a couple hours but i wanted to get it done right the first time.i spent a few days getting my plan of attack down and got her done

actually after i finished her up i charged the battery up to full and i had 12.45v at both coils......up from 11.65
