I am having issues with the speedometer on my 82 Kz 1000 LTD.The bike has the electronic sensor type and the speedometer was not working when I got the bike. I found a sensor and speedometer on Ebay, on separate auctions, and won both. The speedometer came first so I installed it to see if it would work,but I still did not have a working speedometer. The sensor came a couple of days later and I figured for sure that it would solve my problems but after installing it and trying both speedometers, both the original and the Ebay purchase, I still do not have a functioning speedometer. I suspect that the sensor that I got on ebay is defective but I wish there was a way to test it. All the wiring appears to be correct and sound. Any ideas?
