Shindengen CDI Igniter Kz440 was created by TwoSeven
Hey folks,
I'm looking at replacing my CDI Ignition on the old KZ440 (c model). Has anyone any ideas on what would be a suitable 'modern' replacement.
The old one is marked Shindengen SH347.
Edit: I'm also thinking about replacing the ignition coils with a dyna unit but can't make out what the original was. It has "tec z0006-xxxx) I think the last digits are TR121 but not sure.

You can build an igniter for your bike easily and cheaply, just check out
Loudhvx's website
for details.
I use a three ohm Accel coil on my 79 KZ750 twin that's been converted to electronic ignition utilizing KZ440 electronic ignition componets, so a 3 ohm Dyna coil ought to work.
