I need more information on your problem such as : year of motorcycle, engine size, four cylinder, twin,or single.
I have three websites that sell stators and regulator/rectifiers. Many of these units are a combination in one package.
they are:
1. www.ricksmotorsportselectrics.com
2. www.rmstator.com
3. www.electrosport.com

Our 1977 KZ650-B1's are considered odd-balls since they use an earlier technology that uses a separate regulator and rectifier.
The 12 Vdc regulator is located under the left cover and looks like this:
The 3 Phase Vac to Vdc Full Wave rectifier is under the battery box and I don't have a picture of it. Not hard to find. Remove the right cover. It’s the only device under the battery box.
Best of success.

The three things to the right of the Voltage Regulator are automotive relays:
1) One for the WG Ignition Coil(s) Repowering Mod (you need it).
2) One for the Starter/Head Light Disconnect Mod (to save my battery).
3) One for the Hi/Lo Head Light selector (I needed it because of poor electircals).
See my Photobucket page for details:

You can get KZ650 part from Z1 Enterprises (good delivery):
www.z1enterprises.com/
I bought a new Rectifier, "R2-55a-KZ650 rectifier for early Kawasaki KZ650" and not yet installed, from Oregon Motorcycle Parts:
www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/rectifiers3p.html
Also available from OMP is an affordable KZ650-B1 Voltage Regualator, "VR2-KZb" (have not bought this yet):
Best of success.

PS
What's your location?
