Speedo Cable Options?
04 Jul 2008 17:00
Hey all -
I swapped my front brakes to behind the forks style, but now my speedo cable is not long enough because of the brakes being in the way.
Anyone have any suggestions on what bike has a longer cable (2" - 3") that is compatible with a 75 z1?
Thanks

1975 Z1 900, 1075 wiesco kit, web cams, smooth bores, dyna ignition, denco pipe, lester mags, wicked bad rotors, custom gauge face plates .. not much stock left.

You can probably use either a cable from a KZ1000A2 or a 650B2 which had the calipers behing the legs. I'm too lazy to look as I'm sure in Kawasaki tradition they are not the same cable, probably 1/16" difference in length or something.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
