Dyna coils and ignition ??

Im going to install dyna coils and electronic ignition today. With this setup, will I still need to do the WG wiring upgrade ?

I replied in your post "Parts have arrived" that i would do the upgrade. It assures good voltage to your ignition. Install the ignition and then do the upgrade. Roy

Installing a Dyna-S, right? Then I would do it the other way around (sorry, Roy), prepare the coil upgrade first.

Install the relay and coils, then splice the Dynas pickup power wire(s) into the wire you use to trigger the relay (the one coming down from the right handlebar control (from the kill switch), most likely it´s red/yellow). This way you´re certain that power is cut to pickups as well as coils when you turn the bike off.

do you have the stock coils
and will you sell them

78KZ 04....When I bought my bike a while back the P.O. had just installed a Dyna ignition and coils and gave me the stock coils just for the hell of it. Off of a '78 KZ 1000 and if you want them you can have them for the shipping cost.....let me know. He didn't say anything about them NOT working so who knows??
