Turn Signals

I have a 1974 Z1 900 and I replaced the original bulb style turn signals with LED style turn signals. They all light up and work but they do not flash. What is the problem? Do I need a flasher module? What's the deal? Can anyone help?

Do you even HAVE a flasher installed,or are you asking if you need to REPLACE the flasher?

Start there, and try installing a new flasher.
I too, have all L.E.D. signals, and they all work perfectly, using the same flasher that I was using with the other signals.

If you have a traditional (bi metallic) flasher, LED's will not make it flash. The current isn't high enough to heat the metal and make it bend. The LED places sell electronic flashers which will work with LEDs.

Sounds good and thanks for the help. I am using the original Z1 flasher. There is an Auto Zone in town so I will check them out. Is there a specific module I need?
