dyna-s install help!!

hi there! okay here's the deal I installed a pair of dyna 3 ohm coils removed the ballast resitor and then proceeded to install my dyna s and bam! my bike does'nt have points! it has the same kinda pickups and rotor thingy that the dyna s is but I really want to put the dyna s on anyway. OK my question is...there are 2 wires going to one side of the pickup and two to the other on the stock plate. I traced the wires to behind the sidecover to the IC igniter. I want to know if I install the dyna s do I toss the igniter and do some kinda fancy wiring or splice the green wire from the dyna to the 2 corrisponding wires that go the the proper coil and the black wire to the 2 wires that go to the other proper coil and then run the red one to the switched 12 volts??? anyone come across this one before?

Yep, remove the ignitor (don't throw it away).
