replacement plug wires

can anyone recommend some decent plug wires to replace the aged ones on my '80 750h? maybe dyna? rode to work today and saw an arc dumping out of one of the plug caps. also, this is a new bike to me, but is replacing them a pain? i figure it should be pretty simple.

thanks!

Pick up NGK spark plug caps at any bike shop ($5-$7 each), and spark plug wires at your local auto parts store. Just get a set of "cut to fit" plug wires for just about any four cylinder car.

As another option, there's a good selection of Dyna plug wires from Z1E, with caps already fitted. :)

Replacement wires will only work on non-oem coils. I know on the 900/1000s the wires are not removable from the coil. Check your coil before buying wires.

Before I posted I looked at the coils on my 80 750E to see if they were the replaceable type, and the are. Might not be the stock coils though, never had another KZ750 four to compare.
