Z1 tach questions was created by TexasMuscleBikes1
Beginning a restoration on a my 74 900 Z1, just wondering if this is the correct tach for it?? I saw the buy it now and thought that was a good price, is it?? You'll have to forgive me, I'm not up on these Z1 parts prices yet, this is the first one I've restored in 15 years! I know a comparable V65 Magna or Kawasaki ZL tach would be worth at least that much, didn't figure I could get hurt too much for a hundred beans!

That looks to be an aftermarket tach in that it does not have the ND logo on it and the font style seems different as well. If you are just looking for a tach that will work you will be ok. If you are going for a 100% accurate concours type restoration then you wasted your money.

No, I wasn't looking for NOS, but I really couldn't tell, thats why I posted about it. Actually, the tach on my bike doesn't look too bad, just a little faded like most of the originals are. I figured I would take the originals off the bike, and run new ones, if that's a reproduction, that's fine too. Thanks for your help!
