Z1 900 DYNA S ==> 77 KZ 650 ???

I need another Dyna s ignition, and KZrider member 'Rollingstock' has one designated Z1 900 S. He is not sure if it will work on my 77 650 C.

Does anyone know if this is the ignition that will work on my bike or not?

I don't think so. The 550/650/750-4 are interchangeable for the most part, but they don't mix with the 900/1000 ignition plates.

There is a very slim chance you can cut down and drill the Dyna plate to fit, but I thought the Dyna plate had electronic traces on it. Either way it's not recommended.
