I plan to switch to LEDs as soon as I run out of my little stash of incandescent bulbs...

fixer5000:
I assume you are talking about those little glass bulbs with the pinched glass base? The ones that just push into a socket? If so, pull one, take it to any autoparts retail chain store, get the number off it, and there is a new replacement bulb manufactured that will supercede it (those #'s will be listed on the package). I just picked up a set of 10 bulbs (my instrument pod take 9 bulbs) at O-Reilly's.

I've put 53's in my instrument cluster next to original stock bulbs. I find them to be bright enough. I'm not sure if I need super bright instrument lighting ever. At 60 cents a pop, you can always swap them out for something else later.
