Seems I can't find the correct speedometer for my 1980 LTD 750 ... to switch to a 1981 set there are some differences ... I would be loosing my volt meter. That's not such a big deal but ... should I just tape up the volt meter leads from the harness or ... what ???. What about running an aftermarket volt meter mounted to a custom bracket or something ? Any thoughts ?
