gpz- kz carb swap

ok guys a friend has a 84 gpz 900 water cooled will the carbs fit a kz- more specifically mine..hehe they are kiehn carbs painted black and think they have accelorator pumps on them..is the spaciing simalar enough? anyone done this?

the gpz has a water leak so we are parting it out

the spacing is different....
the GPz900 had the cam chain to one side, not down the center like the KZ's

The center two carbs are not spaced the same, if memory serves. I tried to force a set (you can force BS34s from a GS750/850 with almost the same spacing) but couldn't get them in the carb holders... just too much spacing difference plus it seems to me that the OD is a bit big as well...
