1980 KZ550 need turn signals

Crazy thought, but does anyone have a set of original front turn signals for a 1980 KZ550-A1 I could buy off of them?

I have them for a 1982 550 the right rear is not perfect but the others are in good shape

Are they LTD turn signals, 'cause I need the A1 signals.
Any chance you could take a picture of them?
I only want the front ones.

The ones I have on my bike are these plastic things with black housings.
Does anyone know if the originals for my bike were plastic or chrome?

I found a schematic which indicates they were chrome, but I thought my bike was all original.

yes they are ltd and they are chrome

Can't help you find them, but they were for sure chrome from the factory.

The 550 A (standard) had chrome signals with a semi-round lens. The lens was flat on top and bottom but the sides were round. The 550 D (gpz)'s were black plastic with rectangular lenses. The 550 C (ltd) were round and chrome.

You may have better luck if you expand your search to include signals from a 440 LTD. They both used the same signals and Kawasaki made about a million 440 LTD's.

LoudHVX your expert knowledge on the turn signal is awesome! Thanks, I bet my signal was swapped out at some point. Or worse yet, maybe my front end was replaced... hmmm... a little more research might be needed.

I just bought this bike last week, so I am still learning the way of the land. The guy who sold it told me it was "all original"... yeah, right.
