Does anyone have a good reason not to use a trailer harness converter? Seems like it would work OK. ...

I bought a Reese trailer kit for my 400. I got it from Amazon.com... it came free with super-saver-shipping (because I bought it with some other stuff). It was like $14. It hooked up perfect, and works perfect. Had it on for half the year or so...

No, with it, I have four rear-facing lights. The outer two are running/turn/brake (on the trailer kit), and the inner two are wired to the stock running/brake. I love the way it works...

I used a U-Haul converter on a zx6 taillight I'm using on my 750 to integrate the turnsignals, was around $16.

It is very easy.
Just buy 4 diodes (a 1 way electrical check valve)from Radio Shack for a couple of bucks.

I use something similar so my turn filaments will come on with the brake. I would caution, I am told this is illegal. The turn signal is supposed to keep working (flash dim/bright) when the brakes are applied. I haven't been stopped for this, but I was advised it is not legal.

I have designed some solid-stae circuitry which can do this, but I haven't built it yet (had a little issue of rebuilding the stupid engine). Now, it's so stinking cold I don't want to work on it.

ADDED: Turn signal buls are about 18W, so they draw about 1.5A. make sure the diodes are rated for at least 3A. Also, with 1.5A flowing, each one will dissipate about 1 - 1.5 Watts, which will get a small diode cooking real toasty.

NO, I have not recieved it.

I did finally get a message from Josh, the seller. I sent him a message to his email I found through the transaction on Paypal, after getting a "request for feedback withdrawl" from ebay.

Josh said he'd ship the item or give a refund. He also asked that I withdraw the feed back "ASAP" as there was a time limit to do so. I opted for the refund. I did not withdraw the feedback. I'll wait to see the refund first.
Nothing came.
I then sent a request for money through Paypal. Nothing from josh to that.

I've been trying through ebay to get this resolved. I email their Trust and Safety team. They've just given me advise to try through my Credit Card company to help fix it, as my credit card is linked to my Paypal account. Only thing is yes my card is linked, but my buying is taken out of my Bank Account if there is not suffiecient funds in my Paypal, so the Credit Card Co. would be of no help.

Ebay also suggested to notify the Police, RCMP and the US authroities, even giving me links to them.
For $20 I don't know if I'll go that route.

I forwarded the email from ebay explaining all this to Josh (aka smunkssales on ebay), hoping he will finally do the right thing.

I liked the post by the other member here with the Leather Jacket they bought through ebay.
I'd like to try something like that, copying the sales add from smunkssales, but I don't have the product to sell. I guess I can put something in the description that states that I don't actually have the integrator to sell, but that the auction is for something else like a washer or something.

It's not a lot of money, but it would be nice to have back.

More items for sale by smunkssales .
I advise everyone to avoid this seller.

What can you do regarding the leather coats? I don't think I saw that post. Could you explain that a little more?

I have since changed my mind on using an integraor, and decided to use turn signals instead, for better visability.

Some ZX turn signals I bought off ebay to go along with the ZX tail light, also from ebay:

Here's the post with the leather jacket bought on ebay: ebay fun

Thought I might do a similar ebay item for sale, copying the Integrator sales add from smunkssales.
