quick way to fill battery cells

I just winterized the old girl. So...,yesteray I got a flu shot and bummed a new syringe off one of the nurses. I used the syringe to fill the battery cells today. I went from the lower battery level line to the upper with just 3-4 squirts of distilled water in each cell. It's on a trickle charge right now. No mess, no fuss, squirts right in and is very quick. Better than my previous sloppy method of using a baster type doo hicky. I've been thinking about doing this for a few years now and always forgot or just didn't get around to it. I'm keeping the syringe, it's really handy.

A baby's nasal or ear syringe works well too. They are much easier to get you hands on too, a needle syringe is impossible to get at a drugstore unless you use insulin.
Must be too many a''holes shooting themselves up,,,   .

just did the same thing 20 minutes ago. The big syringes at pharmacies work great.

Or, just go to a livestock supply store and get all the syringes you need in all sizes.

And one of those big turkey injectors works great for bleeding brakes. You hook a hose to the bleeder and suck the fluid and air out!

I use syringes to add oil to the cylinders, through the plug holes, for storage. Since I don't have clean ones left to add distilled water to the battery, I found the small paper Dixie cups work well. Just squeeze them a little to get a bend in the edge, and they work great to pour into the small holes.

Looks like I might just be getting my bike ready for storage very soon as well. :(
