HELP!!
How do i install my new stator? the new one came with three long yellow wires. I dont think i have what i need. I figure, I have to cut these wires to size and attach terminal pins(female) then connect them to the bullet connectors?
Is this right? Is soldering required?

Probably have to cut to length, and you are correct about the bullet connectors. Your wiring harness should have males on it already. You do not need to soldier anything together, crimping will work, just make sure you get a good crimp. It does not matter which yellow wire goes to which, they all go directly to the regulator/rectifier

What bike?
The 78 650 uses a single-phase stator which has 2 yellow wires. If your replacement has 3 yellow wires, it's 3-phase and you will need a reg/rec from a later bike from 81 or later.
