Stop light on dash keeps flashing was created by OKC_Kent
The original rear brake switch on the foot pedal broke and I just replaced it with the switch from Z1. The brake light works now, but the darn dashboard light will flash constantly. I had to pull the bulb out. It didn't flash constantly before, just a few times when I started the bike.

Any reason why it flashes now?

That dash light should only flash constantly when there's an incomplete circuit in the tail/brake light = burnt out bulb filament(s), damaged or unplugged wiring/connection, rusted/corroded contacts on the bulb, or the bulb simply isn't inserted into it's socket completely.

At least those are the things that I found suspect when my dash light flashed constantly. And I've experienced all of them at one time or another on my bike. :S

I'll check everything mentioned, thanks. One of the bullets was a very loose fit and I had to squeeze it tight, maybe that's it.
