brake switch

I have 82 kz 550 ltd and I need a front brake switch. I have checked with the dealer and they said it is not in production any more I have checked z1ent and they did not have one.

any body want to sell one or know where I can find one?

Just remember that You can always locate a front brake lever set-up that has the switch right AT the lever,instead of in the brake line(a very small,micro-switch).You would just have to wire it down to where the factory switch is located.

If You can't find a replacement switch for Yours,then that's an alternate way.I did it on My bike,because the switch wasn't activating unless I really squeezed the lever.
Do You have a motorcycle salvage-yard in Your area?

no salvage yards around here that I know of. I went to a place that sells used parts but they didn't have any.
