kz750b regulator/rectifier wiring was created by Cafe
I have a kz750be 0069 and want to know if someone knows where each of the wires from the regulator goes. The regulator has three wires (1)brown and(1)green that plug into the wiring harness and (1)black that goes to? neg battery post? The recifier has the three yellow coming in and a white and a black wire coming out to go where? Right now the two black wires are hooked up to the negative battery post and the white to the positive battery post. (This bike is stripped down to bare essentials and has a single power wire (toggle switch) to the coil, and then to headlight/taillight.) Thank you for any assitance in advance.

This link will give you a wiring diagram for a '76 B1 which confirms your guesses. Black to ground and white to power.

If you click the tab above, "KZ Information" and then "Filebase" you can drill down to your bike and get the diagram there.

Thanks for the diagram. Now to add a headlight switch so the battery doesn't drain before I get the thing kick started.
