OK I have 1977 KZ650B1.
I have on there right now dyna green coils(3.0 OHM) and a electronic ignition off 1981 KZ550A.
I was wondering if I could go with different coils with lesser ohms like the 1.5 OHM coils I here that they are more efficient and creat more spark. I also see on Z1 enterprize that it is not suggested to use some coils with certain OHM ignitions.
So I guess my question is what ohm is the ignition off the 81 KZ550, and the hotest coil I can use with it?
Also am I better off getting the hot coils with the Dyna ignition(.5ohm)
Also the wires?? I have supresion wires now and I've been reading on KZR that the solids core are better w/resistor ends. But the bike shop on the corner are pushing spiral core wires??? What Will be the best setup?

81 KZ550 A uses 2.4 to 2.6 ohm coils.
The stock KZ550 ignition is pretty efficient as is. The Dyna S ignition wastes a lot of power, but might get a tiny bit more spark energy. The Dyna S is meant to be used with 3.0 ohm coils or higher.
