Wired up my Acewell speedo/computer and found my Neutral light is only works with the ignition on, but goes out when the engine is started. To complicate matters, or maybe to clarify, my warning light stays on. I had to disable the clutch switch by cutting off the switch tab because the engine would cut out with the clutch released.
I do believe there was some creative wiring going on before I got this bike!
Looks like the neutral light is tied into the warning/sidestand/clutch switch circuit - any ideas how I can isolate it (wire straight from the neutral switch to the warning light?). Thanks
