81 kz750-4 left hand control

Dumb question!! On the left hand control you have a switch marked "M" and "A". One position activates the 4 way flashers. What do the others do???? What does the M and A stand for???:blink:

I have an 81 Kz750H LTD, and it has automatic turnsignal cancelling. Your M and A might refer to Manual or Automatic cancelling. Does your left switch gear have a small "box" attached to the bottom of it? If it does you have the automatic turnsignal canceller. Thats my guess.
