Aftermarket turn signals. was created by tnutz
I want to run after market signals on my 81 GPZ 1100, but the ones i want have a 6watt halogen bulb. To make these work correctly i can just add a Resistor in series with it correct?

I don't know much about electronics, but isn't it the case that these will use less power? If so, why not just use a "heavy-duty" or "electronic" turn signal blinker? That's what I did when I switched to LEDs, and I got my replacement blinker unit from AutoZone for like $7... It perfectly regulated the blinking no matter how much power is drawn......To make these work correctly i can just add a Resistor in series with it correct?...
