Easy question-Dyna coils

Easy question-Dyna coils was created by pilotx253
Just ordered the green Dyna coils from Z1 enterprises for my 77 KZ1000. Do I need to get rid of the ballast resistor when I install these coils? If so, what the heck does a ballast resistor look like:S Thanks for the help;)
